European Committee of Social Rights, Decision on the merits, La Voce dei Giusti v. Italy (Complaint No. 105/2014), 18 October 2016 (publicity: 14 March 2017)

With regard to the complaint introduced by the association “La Voce dei Giusti” on the teacher training the precarious staff of the so-called third category, the European Committee of Social Rights deemed discriminatory the modalities to access training courses for the acquisition of specialization on support and the lack of recognition of previous work. In light of these reasons, it recognised a violation of the principle of non-discrimination under Article E in conjunction with Article 10 (right to vocational training) of the European Social Charter.
