Decision of the Court of Cassation, VI Criminal Section, No. 26461 of 18 March 2014

Based on the European Convention on Extradition, the requested State is not entitled to examine the reasons for which the person whose extradition is requested was convicted by the courts of the requesting State. Provided that all necessary requirements under the Convention are met, the knowledge of these reasons is not necessary for the national authorities of the requested State to order extradition.
