For the year 2012, the Italian Report, in addition to information on the dissemination of the Convention and its annexed Protocols to the armed forces and to the civilian population, the legislation related to the Convention and the Protocols, the measures taken on technical cooperation and assistance, contains updated data on the operations of confiscation, recover and destruction of landmines and explosive remnants by the Italian armed forces in Afghanistan and Lebanon, and on the activities of mine clearance with UNIFIL.
