Human Rights Committee, List of issues in relation to the sixth periodic report of Italy, CCPR/C/ITA/Q/6, 26 July 2016

The issues of major concern, which the Committee intends to address in relation to the sixth periodic Report of Italy, regard non-discrimination and gender equality, fight against racial discrimination and hate crimes, measures to address the growing number of cases of femicide, implementation of the previous Committee’s recommendations and the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights in the case Cestaro v. Italy on the events that took place in Genoa and Naples in 2001, treatment of aliens.
