The Italian report contains information for the year 2011 on the dissemination of the Convention and its Protocols to the armed forces and to the civilian population,  the legislation related to the Convention and Protocols, the measures taken on technical cooperation and assistance. In the form on other relevant matters, there are provided data on the operations of confiscation, recover and destruction of landmines and explosive remnants by the Italian armed forces in Afghanistan and Lebanon, and on the activities of mine clearance with UNIFIL.
