The Italian Report focuses on the many legislative measures taken to counter racial discrimination, intolerance and xenophobic attitudes in specific areas such as sports, politics and the media. The measures taken to guarantee the fundamental rights of foreigners follow. In particular, the Report highlights the novelties introduced in the field of economic, social and cultural rights, such as the measures to grant the access to the labour market, to support the right to housing, to guarantee the healthcare assistance and to encourage school integration.
